Dear Families,

Last week the third graders were able to carry out the Prospect Hill tradition of painting the playground tunnel.  They were so excited and worked really well together.  Thank you to Rosanna Thacke for organizing this event and for helping the kids as they painted.   Thank you to the parent volunteers who helped as well.

It’s hard to believe we are closing out the school year.  This is certainly a year that none of us could have ever imagined.  We went from remote learning, to hybrid, to full in person, all while dealing with the ever changing guidelines and routines.  I want to thank the Prospect Hill staff for their endless energy and dedication in making sure the children continued to have had a year filled with fun and learning, all while navigating the many challenges.

I want to thank the PTA and all of our families for their overwhelming support. You spend so much of your time and energy planning, organizing and at times reorganizing many of the events and traditions that make Prospect Hill such a special place.  I also can’t thank you enough for being our partners in the various learning models.  I know it hasn’t been easy but on behalf of the entire staff we want you to know how appreciative we are of your efforts.

To all of our students: Thank you for all of your hard work throughout this year. You have certainly learned the importance of staying connected and working hard through tough situations. You are all so special and I am proud to be your principal.

I hope you all have a great summer! I want to encourage students to have fun and keep up with reading and math skills.  Please note that access to Dreambox, iXL, etc., will be active until the beginning of August.
